Youth development,tracked properly.

A coaching tool your volunteers will use, a pathway that keeps children at the club from U7 to U18 and beyond, and a share of every parent subscription back to you.

Two apps, one record. One for the people coaching, one for the family at home.

A player's screen: rank, targets and the skills they have earned.
The player’s screen
01

A coaching tool

Sixteen skills a year, three depths each, tapped on a phone at training. No laptop, no admin evening.

02

A pathway

One record from their first session to their last. Each age group builds on the one before, so a child always knows what they are working towards next.

03

A revenue stream

Parents subscribe to see their own child. A share of it comes back to the club — and you can sell sponsor space in the adult app on top.

Three things every club knows

Keeping players is the hard part. Most clubs lose them somewhere between the fun years and the serious ones.

A child can improve all season, and nobody can show it.

Everyone says development matters more than winning. Very few can prove it.

All three come down to one thing: the progress is invisible. This makes it visible and meaningful — to the child, to the parent, and to the club.

How it works

01

The coach marks it off

Sixteen skills a year for each age group. Three tiers each — in a drill, in a game, under pressure. Tapped on a phone at training, in seconds.

02

The child watches it build

Their level this season, their rank across the years, and badges they claim for themselves.

03

The parent can see it all

Everything the coach records, the parent can see — and be part of the journey. Shared with the child when they are old enough.

What it means for the club

The children who stay are the ones who can see they are getting better.

A full U8 group is easy. A full U15 group is the challenge. Children leave when the sport stops telling them they are progressing — and the ones who leave are lost forever.

This gives every child a record that only ever grows, and gives you something to show a parent who is wondering whether it is worth the early Sunday mornings and the late mid-week evenings.

And it pays its own way.

Parents subscribe to see their own child’s record, and a share of every subscription comes back to the club.

A club that recruits well and keeps its players earns from this, rather than simply paying for it.

The coach’s app

Two taps, then back to the session.

Bronze in a drill. Silver in a game. Gold under pressure. Tap once to step a skill up, again to cycle it back if you were generous.

The coaching points sit under every skill, in your club's own words — so a parent volunteer covering a session knows what they are looking for.

A coach sees only their own age groups, and the badges a child claims stay private.

The parent and player app

Their rank, their target, their next skill.

The player’s path, showing them where they are at, and where they are going.

The coach can set one target. The child sets their own — and the two sit side by side, because a child who chooses is a child who turns up.

A child's badges: in the game, how I played, how I behaved — several claimed with counts.
Claimed by the player · once a week each

Have fun

The badges belong to the child.

Nobody awards these. The child taps one when it happens — I scored, I never gave up, I thanked the referee — once a week each, counted across the season.

A coach never sees which a child has claimed. That is the point: a badge nobody is marking is a badge worth being honest about.

Three groups, and only one of them is about rugby: in the game, how I played, how I behaved.

And there are games to play — quick ones, on their own screen, for the evenings between sessions.

Your ethos, on every screen

HAVE FUNThe reason a seven-year-old comes back.
WORK HARDThe only part of this a child fully controls.
GET BETTERMeasured against themselves, and no one else.

Your club's words, not ours — change them and they change everywhere.

No child is ever compared to a team-mate.

Rank only climbs

Never taken away, whatever kind of season they have had.

Nothing is lost

A skill left unfinished can be completed years later.

Everyone progresses

Especially the ones who aren't winning. That is the point.

Optional extra

Sponsors sit in three places on a page — top, middle and bottom — in the coach app and the parent app. A logo or a name, linking to them if you like. Never on a child’s own account.

Some clubs would rather cover the cost for their families than ask them to subscribe. If that is you, say so and we will price it that way.
