Your info and this app — the short version
RuckPath / StickPath — written for players
Hello. This app keeps track of your journey — your skills, your badges, your rank. Because it’s about you, you deserve to know how it works. Here it is, honestly.
This is about the information RuckPath keeps about you when you use the app, and what we do with it. RuckPath is run by Ruckpath Group Ltd — that is the company, and where this says we, that is who it means.
What the app knows about you
Your name, your date of birth, your age group, and your journey in your sport: the skills your coaches have seen you do, your targets, your badges, how often you’ve trained, and your rank as it climbs.
That’s it. No photos of you. No messages. Nowhere for anyone to write comments about you. The app doesn’t know where you are.
How we use your personal data
To show you how you're doing. Your skills, your badges, your rank — that's the whole point of the app. It's your journey and we keep it so you can see it.
So your coaches can coach you. They record what they've seen you do, and that helps them plan what to work on next — with you, and with your team.
So your parents can see how you're getting on. They see what your coaches have recorded, so they know what you're working on.
To work out your rank and your level. That's just maths on the skills you've nailed. Nobody decides it — you do, by getting better.
To keep the app working properly and keep it safe.
That's all. We don't use your information to sell you anything, and we never use it to decide something about you automatically — a person is always involved.
Who can see it
Your coaches — so they can help you get better.
Your parents or carers — so they can see how you’re doing.
You.
Nobody else. We never sell or give your information to other companies.
The badges you claim are YOURS
When you claim a badge like “I Never Gave Up” or “I Thanked the Referee” — your coaches can never see which ones you claimed. Only you and your family can. That’s on purpose. They’re your record of who you are, not something you’re marked on.
Nothing is taken away
Your rank only ever climbs. Old skills stay open for you to finish. Leaving your club doesn’t delete your journey.
Your rights
This is your information. When you’re old enough — around 13 — you can ask us yourself to show you everything we have about you, fix anything that’s wrong, or delete it. Your parents can ask for this information on your behalf at any age, up until the age of 18 and they should read the Parent Privacy Notice for the app too at https://ruckpath.app/privacy.
If something seems wrong
Tell your parent or carer, or ask them to email us at support@ruckpath.app. We will always listen.
That’s everything. Now go play.
